I'm thrilled to say that K9 Walkies Doggie Hotel is now very much on the map.

First Visitor

I was very excited to welcome our first visitor to the K9 Walkies dog hotel last weekend as Maude the Welsh Terrier was dropped off on Friday and picked up on Sunday.

As an older dog, it was necessary to tailor the stay to meet her needs so we had short daily walks, plenty of cuddles and play time in the house and the garden over the two days. All in all a good time was had by all.

Here a just a few of the notes about the breed.

The Welshie is a medium sized dog with the females being slightly smaller than the males and as the name suggests, the breed originates from Wales. Belonging to the terrier group of dogs, they were originally bred to hunt fox, badgers and other vermin. The Welsh Terrier is friendly, affectionate, playful and easy to control. They are a great companion to children. They can be independent, which may bring some challenges and require extra training as pups, but overall they make great family pets.
